Shape of Language

A highly influential visual aesthetic in the Gaetjen’s oeuvre, The “Shape of Language” (a.k.a. “Language of Man”) series became the artists signature style through much of the 1990’s-2010’s leading to further experimentation in mediums such as metal to recreate the emphatic and energetic line evident associated with his pastels and paintings.
